Noobs needs help restoring Ipad

Sorry for the noob first post but didn't find the site until I had an issue and needed to search. I have an Ipad1 32gb that was running IOS 3.2.2 and was jailbroken. I didn't do the jailbreak myself so know very little overall. (please be gentle). I searched here and found great tutorials, unfortunately I don't know which applies to me in restoring my Ipad.

So while in Cydia yesterday, I guess I downloaded something to cause my system to freeze. Now I have the Itunes logo with USB. I've tried to do some reading here and can make it into DFU mode. Downloaded Tiny Umbrella to see if I had any blobs saved (after reading Cydia saves them automatically, but guess I was mistaken) and I can't get Tiny Umbrella to recognize my Ipad. It shows up as recovery device 1114183



So I'm basically stuck and don't know what to do at this point besides the Itunes system restore.

Are my Jailbreak days over or can someone advise what steps to take from here as I'm totally confused. lol if all is not lost, I promise to become a better noob.

OK, first, to see what blobs you have, try to run through this tutorial WITHOUT being in DFU mode - To do that, hold the home and power for 10 seconds then let go so that the iPad resets. TinyUmbrella should then recognise it normally, even if it is at the "connect to iTunes" logo. Run through this exactly as it is written, and you will have a list of every firmware you can install on the device (the list is in the general tab of TU)...

Let us know what the results are and we will try and talk you through a restore and re-jailbreak from there.

TU doesn't recognize my Ipad as being connected. It's logging it as a recovery device.
