I cannot bring up the screen orientation, volume control and iPad controls up at the bottom of the screen. I thought you double clic the home button and slide your finger from left to right at the bottom of the screen. This does nothing. Any help?

What OS are you running on your iPad? I am assuming 4.2.

Well if you double click and the task bar does not appear, that is a sure sign you are not on 4.2. Also if you cannot creat folders...

It should be there, you sliding your finger hard enough? make sure you are not accidently hitting any icons slightly while you slide your finger

Try Reseting your iPAD (Home+power)
