New to IPad2

There is so much to learn. I am having a ball. So many questions, where do I start? How do make folder in mail? When I press edit all I get is inbox & trash.

Create your folders from a server side client be it web client, windows, or exchange and they will appear on the iPad. iPad incapable of creating folders, just capable of displaying preexisting ones.

You can create a folder in mail by selecting the mail account in the Accounts section, not the Inbox section, and the using the Edit and New Mailbox buttons.

The edit button only permits moves and deletes within existing folders unless I'm missing something.

Can you provide an example of where you were able to create a mail folder from the iPad?

This will work if you have an Imap or exchange account, it doesn't work with a Pop account. Have a look at the link I posted above.

Thanks much. I noticed the create mailbox button but thought it was to create....a new mailbox....as in account.
