The National Football League has officially unleashed NFL Now for iPhone and iPad users. Thus, with the new app, football fans can get personalized video updates from around the league as well as highlights and select live broadcasts. However, unfortunately, for watching games, you will still have to resort to your television.

NFL Now will come with around 105 hours of original content each week, as well as nearly 400 hours of archival footage. You'll get to see on your iPhone and iPad historical highlights from individual teams as well as every Super Bowl between 1967 and 2009.

You will also be able to browse through the NFL Films archive, sections from the NFL Network, as well as live coverage of press conferences and shows. By using NFL Now's personalization options, viewers can choose their favorite teams and players, as well as link their fantasy football roster.

By subscribing to NFL Now Plus for $1.99-per-month, U.S. viewers can get instant in-game highlights. NFL Now Plus will cost $4.99 per month for international viewers, but they will get a live stream of the NFL Network as well as Sunday access to NFL Red Zone.

The NFL Now app is available now for iPhone and iPad as a free, 27.9-megabyte download from the App Store. Go ahead and follow the link from below to download it on your iPad or iPhone.
