my ipad won't download the wsj online

i purchased a subsription to the wsj online and the application was working. Now all of a sudden it does not. when I click on app icon a message appears and says...cant connect to the internet but it IS connected to the internet because it has my name and the current date on the page also. How do I make this program, application work again?

More extreme fix

I tried the fixes, and they didn't work. I ended up uninstalling and reinstalling the app, and that worked.

This isn't the first time it's happened.
