Hi there.
Anyone know how to mirror whats on your iphone or ipad screen onto the imac?

I have seen idemo on the net, but it says it only works on jailbreaked phones which is a terrible idea.

I am wishing to view my magazine purchases that i have bought on newsstand on the imac computer.
Any ideas anyone?
Thanks jez j

You cannot view books and magazines from iBooks on the desktop/laptop computers. I do not think jailbreaking has anything to do with it. If you use something like Kindle, you can load books onto both an iPad or iMac from your Amazon account. I would hope that a future update will merge iBooks with the Mac OS, but right now they are written in two different operating languages and do not have a common format.

I'm not sure it will suit your stated use (to read magazines), but you can use Reflection for OSX to mirror the iPad onto a Mac. It works well for me as a developer, but not sure what it would be like for reading. Details at reflectionapp.com.

Apple TV with HDMI out to a computer works great for mirroring. Just have to plop down the money for the Apple TV.
