I am new to this forum. I know nothing about Apple or ipads. My son's father is basically an expert on them, and we are looking for a deal on a new/nice used/refurbed ipad for Christmas. It does not need to be the top of the line model. If anyone knows how to find one at a reasonable rate, please comment. Thank you.

Hi and welcome to the Forum!

As far as buying one from a store, Apple has set the prices on these, so you will most likely see the same prices everywhere. Apple does have refurbished iPads, not sure if it's all the time and every store and these are sold cheaper than new ones but with the same full warranties. As far as used try Craigslist, eBay that type of website but be mindful that these will not have warranties and know what you're buying and be very careful of who you are doing business with as far as when and how you do the changeover.
