I need to connect my iPad to a firewall using L2TP VPN. The VPN fails because it's authenticating using CHAP which does not work. When connecting with windows 7 it authenticates succesfully using PAP. I searched my iPad but cannot find such an option with L2TP. How can I make my iPad to connect with L2TP VPN using PAP?
Changing my firewall to use CHAP is not an option because of the usage of a radius PAM plugin, which only accepts PAP.
