Ipad1 Screen Problem. Weird horizontal strip patch.

This Weird strip has been showing up on and off for about a month.

It started showing up suddenly on and off very seldomly, like once or twice a week.

But the past few days has been very frequent.

I did not ever drop it whatsoever.

What is this horizontal strip anyway? Any chance that i can get it fixed myself?

A couple of Members have had this problem and found that rebooting the iPad fixed the problem. Switch the iPad off and then press and hold the Power and Home buttons together until the white Apple logo appears - it can take up to 20 seconds. The iPad will then reboot - this too takes a while. See if that helps.
