Ipad will only connect to yahoo.uk server even though I live in US

Whenever I access my yahoo it will only connect to "yahoo.uk" even though I reside in the states.

I do not know why and even when I check my yahoo email or do a yahoo search it will connect to yahoo. uk
Do not know if there are any pros or cons to this.
Is there a way I can change this to automatically connect to a domestic server closer to me.

Did you create the Yahoo account in the UK? Is the email address something other than (you)@yahoo.com ?

If so, you may have to see if Yahoo will move your account to the US.

Otherwise, try deleting the account (on the iPad) and adding it again. That usually clears up weirdness in email accounts.

I totally agree it sounds like your email has been set up in Britain not USA. It relly does not matter as you still receive the email regardless what country you set it up in.

I have email servers in USA , Britain and Australia no issues
