Ipad screen

    I dropped my iPad and that what happened to the screen in the pic.

    What does that mean?

    Take it to an apple store (if possible) and see what the situation is in terms of a replacement.

    Oh wow, that looks terrible. Have you tried to restart it? What's the current update? Did you take it to the apple store yet? I'd recommend getting a screen protector or a case to prevent that from happening again. Best wishes~

    Hi George.... - don't believe that a 'screen protector' would have helped a dropped iPad (esp. on a hard surface such as concrete!) - maybe a 'bungee cord' - ;)

    Looks like internally you have partially disconnected your screen due to the drop. Genius in the Apple store as suggested might be your best option right now.

    You never said that you dropped your iPad in the other thread. Unless you purchased AppleCare+,you aren't covered against accidental damage. If this is a hardware problem,you can expect to pay for the cost of repair. You should still call the toll free tech support number and discuss the problem.
