At Amazon the iPad 2 is listed as "Apple iPad 2 PC769LL/A Tablet (16GB, WiFi, Black) 2nd Generation"
and at WalMart it is, "Apple iPad 2 with Wi-Fi (Black, 16GB) Model#: MC769LL/A"

Is there really such a thing as a 2nd Generation iPad 2?

Are those model numbers specific to WalMart and Amazon?

Googling has gotten me no results...

Thanks for any info on this! (Don't want to order the wrong one!)

Not as far as I'm aware. There is only 1 ipad2. I'd pay no heed to an numbers.
