Hoping someone can help. I am in Afghanistan and unable to use the wireless or 3G on my IPAD. I have downloaded kindle books to my PC and want to transfer them to my IPAD. Anyone know how to do this?
    Thanks

Since you downloaded the content to your computer, I will assume you have a wired LAN connection into the computer.....

If your computer is Vista try the following

    1. Go to Control Panel
    2. Click on “Network and Sharing Center”
    3. Under Tasks choose “Setup New Connection”
    4. Wireless “Ad-hoc network”
    5. Now type in a “Network Name”
    6. Click “Internet connection sharing
If all goes well the iPad will be able to connect via WIFI to the computer....

If it is Windows 7 here is a link to a free program that claims to turn the computer into a WIFI hotspot.... [ame=http://download.cnet.com/Connectify/3000-18508_4-75024171.html?part=dl-10061477&subj=dl&tag=button]Connectify - Reviews and free Connectify downloads at Download.com[/ame]

Be sure you have an internet connection on the PC, and that WIFI is on.....

I have not tried any of the above, I am just passing along info... :)
