I have an iPad with iOS 10.3.3 (14G60). Several sites give the following instructions for setting up an email account on the iPad Mail app: · On the iPhone, tap Settings. · Tap Mail, Contacts, Calendars. · Tap Add Account. · Tap Other. · Tap Add Mail Account. · Complete the Name, Address (email address), Password and Description fields. · Click Next. · Ensure IMAP is selected I want an IMAP connection, and I know that my ISP supports this because I have it on my PC. The trouble is with the last instruction. Mail sets up a POP connection as soon as I click Next and I can see no way to “Ensure IMAP is selected”, even when I go to advanced settings.
