iBooks what?

I've been reading the book Eon by Alison Goodman for the past two days. I was just finishing chapter 14 when I lost WiFi connection. So I went somewhere else, got the connection back, but couldn't find my book! Whenever I touched "Eon" in my library, it brought me to a screen that said "Rate this book!" and "Other books by Alison Goodman..." I tried going to the table of contents and selecting chapter 15, but it kept bringing me to that same screen....WHAT???

First try clearing the app and starting it again. Do this by double tapping the Home button, tap and hold on any icon in the task bar until it jiggles, then tap the minus sign on the iBooks icon.

Open the iBooks app again and see if it is behaving. If not try a restart.

Restart: Hold down the power button until the power off slider appears. Slide it off. When the iPad finishes shutting down, hold down the power button again until the Apple logo appears.
