Hi all.

Sorry for the stupid question, but how do I submit a post from my iPad?

When I want to post from my PC there is a large purple button telling me, "Submit new post" or similar, but I cannot find how to post from the iPad.

Regards

While in the thread just touch the arrow-in-the-box icon at the top right. Gives you the options to Reply/Subscribe/Refresh. Touch Reply and start typing. You also have the option of quoting a post by touching the blue checkmark underneath the post count and you get the options to Share/Report/Quote.

You can't start a new thread from the iPad app.You have to do it from the web version. The quickest way to get there is to go to the top of this page and click on the title of this thread at the top center of the page. Then follow the directions in these pictures.

This works for replying to an existing thread but not for starting a new thread.

You can start a new thread from the iPad app. Just tap the same arrow-in-the-box icon and you get options, one of which is to start a new thread.

You can start a new thread with the same button in top right, just go to forums first, select which group you want your thread in then hit top right button. See pic.

Yes, I followed up with info on starting a new thread. From the OP I took "post from an iPad" to mean replying to posts. Should've included accurate info on both. My bad.

These are the only options that show up when I tap that box.

Exactly, you cannot start a new thread from within a thread...start by clicking on the appropriate forum and you will get the option to start a new thread.

I believe if you exit out of the specific thread and touch the icon you'll find the other options.

I figured that out and was posting a reply when you beat me to it.Thanks for the help.

I think the OP now has all the info he could possibly need in order to post on these forums.
