Help with apps on ipad2

I have just started to set up my new ipad and the apps i purchased are not showing up on my ipad. I see them in Itunes but they are not on my ipad after the sync is complete - please help - I am anxious to get working on it

When connected to iTunes, select your iPad under Devices on the left hand side, then select the apps tab that appears along the top and check all the apps you want are ticked to sync with the iPad.
