I've been given an iPad for my birthday but it has come from the USA. It's a 64gb 3GS model and it has an AT&T sim card in it.
I want to use the iPad for data roaming and with the iTunes store. However, then I try to input my debit card details and address - it won't let me it's an American format (State, ZIP, weird phone number layout etc).
So I can pay for anything and I can't download apps; what can I do?
Also, I upgraded to IOS5 and clicked on the 'continue' tab when it said back up your apps. When it restarted, all the apps had gone.
Guess there's no way of getting those back as they are nowhere in my iTunes apps list.
