Hi and welcome to the Forum!

Do you mean Genius on the App Store app?

When an app behaves strangely it is best to close it completely and then relaunch it. From the home screen do the four finger swipe up or double press the home button to reveal your multi task bar. These are all the apps that you have opened at one time. Long press the app until it jiggles and a red minus sign will appear above it. Press the minus sign, this will close the app, not delete it, now press the home button to return to your screen. It's also a good idea to close all these apps, as it helps the iPad run smoothly.....now see if it's working. If not a restart is the next step.

Press and hold the power off button, the one at the top right. You will see a slide appear to power off, slide this and the screen will go dark and a Whirly will appear. When the Whirly disappears your iPad is now off. Press the power button again until the Apple logo appears, this will take a few seconds and your iPad will restart. You should restart your iPad occasionally also as it will keep it running well. Now see if it is operating.

And if that doesn't get it working again, a reset is in order.

Hold the power off button and the home button simultaneously, keep holding them in and you may see the power off slide appear and disappear, wait until you see the Apple logo appear before releasing the buttons. It will take a little longer for your iPad to start.

To begin thanks you very much for the help and for the accuracy of your resolution procedure.

I followed your procedure but the problem still exist.
- In the first step I cleaned all applications from the multitasking bar and after restarted the iPad. When I relaunch the App Store and try to access the Genius section, I can see the first elements on the page. I can open thoses elements but always impossible to browse to see other proposals.
- In second I have tried the reset like described, also without success.

Any other idea?

Youre not alone with your problem, others are experiencing it also which would point to it being a problem on Apple's end.

I've also just read an article thats says Genius will no longer be offered with the introduction of OS7, so this may have something to do with it, seeing how this release is very soon. A new feature called Near Me will replace Genius.

Thanks you very much for the information. I hope just that OS7 will be available for my iPad3 and that Near Me will provide the same service.
