email stays open.

Hi Guys.
My first post. Do I have to have email open without a password? As it is email is open when I switch on.I may not be the only person using the ipad2 !!

I understand that you may not want everyone who uses the iPad to access your personal email. Here's what you can do:
In Settings, under Mail, Contacts
Select your email account in the Account field
A new window opens with the settings for that account.
Change the MAIL setting to OFF
Click DONE

When you are using the iPad again, change the MAIL setting for your account to ON to access your email again.
