Email - iPad, iPhone, and the Cloud

Whenever I delete or move mail to other folders I have set up, those changes are not synced to my iPad or iPhone. Anyone know how to resolve this?

What provider and how are have you set up your email?

AT&T ... I set up the iCloud account using my Apple login. I also have another email ID. Maybe this is the problem?
