Dropbox has updated its official iOS app for iPhone and iPad users with the ability to save files to your account from any app by using the iOS 8 share sheet. This is a really useful feature for those who rely on Dropbox for their cloud storage needs.
Here's what's new in the latest version 3.7 of Dropbox:
Dropbox had previously updated its iOS client with a document picker, allowing the app to expose its files and folders to other apps on iOS. Pretty much the same thing has now happened with Dropbox 3.7 with the new action extension.
- New Action Extension for iOS 8: save files straight to Dropbox from your favorite apps
- Better experience receiving shared links on iPhone – when visiting a shared link, supported files will show an option to “Open in app” that takes you to Dropbox
- Bug fixes and improvements related to moving and deleting files, printing and exporting, RTF previews, and password protected files
So, do follow the link at the end and get the updated version of Dropbox on your iPhone or iPad. Leave your comment below and let us know what you think of it.
