Can't find a way to view full episode CBS shows. TV.com requires Flash Player which is not compatible with the iPad.

CBS has shot down any efforts to show videos anywhere but their own website. Their attitude is that it will dilute their advertiser base.

It is interesting that CBS lists "Full Episodes" on their website, yet only supplies clips. What is the purpose of that? NBC and ABC don't appear to have the same concern about diluting advertising revenue. In fact, when you watch their programs on the respective iPad apps, brief commercials are shown throughout each episode. I watch many tv programs later by streaming them from the iPad to Apple TV. I would have no issue with watching the same commercials as are shown on the original episode.

It all has to do with who is in charge. Also do not forget that Steve Jobs was a major stock owner in Disney, who owns ABC.

The website tv.com may require flash, but the tv.com app does not. Use the app and you can access full episodes of many CBS programs.

True, with the ipad you can only watch full cbs episodes with the tv.com app, but cbs full episodes are available on the cbs site with a pc rather than your ipad.

All these networks need to take a look and learn from HBO. HBOGO is one of the best streaming apps out there if you are a subscriber. All the movies in their library plus every season of their shows.

Hulu plus has quite a few shows and programs that you can watch in full. Not sure what you are specifically looking for but take a look at their lineup. For like eight bucks a month, Hulu is a great deal and the app works great on the iPad.

Thanks. Guess the tv.com app is only available for the iPhone. It does work on the iPad but some functions are inoperable, i.e., the ipad Orientation feature doesn't shift when rotating the iPad.

To watch CBS videos on iPad, you will need to download the videos first. A detailed guide on how to download CBS videos for iPad and iPhone is needed. You may find the right solution or tool to help you by type "Solutions to Download Videos from CBS for iPad, iPhone and more" in Google. Good luck.
