Cand you sent a text message to a non idevice?

    Tried turning iMessage off to send a text to an android user but when I open the text app a pop up comes up telling me to sign into iMessage, there is no way to click the screen off??

    He said he was using iMessage. To answer your question, no, not with iMessage. You can get an app called textfree and sign up for an account with them which will allow you to send unlimited free texts to any mobile number. All you need is an email address. Have fun!

    Thanks I heard of that app but thought it would be possible to just turn iMessage off and send one.
