Camera Roll Change Numbering

My wife and I both have iPad 3 w/ iOS 6.x. We both take pictures from our iPads and upload the pictures to a shared file location on our home NAS / Cloud (Pogoplug).

We end up with Camera rolls with some duplicate numbering since the pictures come from two different iPads that causes us issues when we upload our camera rolls to our shared file location. Is their anyway to customize / change how the camera roll numbers the pictures?

Maybe you could upload to two different folders to allow you manual sorting and naming of the files.
