Calendar sync. help needed. Not all showing on ipad.

Hi;
I am new to the ipad.
I use google calendar and access it from computer, phone(android) and ipad.
Not all entries are showing.
Recurring events are not synching to the ipad. Those already on my calendar.

Sporting event times(football/hockey,etc.) are on the google calendar and show up on my phone calendar but not on Ipad.

Is there a way to correct this.
I believe I have all set to sync. from within settings on all devices.
