Brookstone Blueetooth Keyboard Problems with Ipad 2

Hey guys,

I'm new here but you guys seem to be super helpful with questions. I just got an ipad 2 and bought a brookstone blueetoth keyboard to accompany it. I have been able to successfully connect the ipad to the keyboard. It worked perfectly the first time. However, a day later, when I typed an alphabet,the keypad seemed to just press that letter on end resulting in something like this: When I type in an 'a' it appears as 'aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa...' and it keeps going. Is there anything I can do to stop the malfunction?
