I have a black bar about 2 inches thick just above of center across the entire screen on my first gen iPad. I've googled the issue and it seems there's quite a few who have had this problem.
Since it is a 64MB, I think it's worth repairing if I can find someone to do it at a reasonable price. I wanted to see if anyone here had the same issue, knew of anyone online who might be able to make the repair and what it cost them. Thanks.
