Apple Music and Vice team up for docu-series.JPG

9to5 Mac reports that Apple Music and Vice have extended their partnership with the release of a new music documentary series called The Score, the first episode of which is available from today.

The new series is designed to give an in-depth look at different music scenes around the world in inimitable Vice fashion, with the first episode, Reservation Rap Pt. 1, focusing on Minnesota’s Native American hip hop scene, and featuring the music and stories of the Ojibwe tribe.

9to5 Mac says that while neither Apple nor Vice have given much more away about the rest of the series, Tech Crunch, the source of the original story, says that it’s expected that future episodes will explore the music scene in countries such as Brazil, Iceland, and Vietnam. It’s also thought that Apple Music will be releasing special playlists to accompany each episode.

The episodes will all be exclusively available on Apple Music, but the official trailer for the first episode is available to view on Vice.
