    Hi forum,

i'm group head of technology and last week a new project landed on my desk...IPAD development. I've been a religious microsoft guy for many years and am excited with the fact that wer're working on this. Though the reality is, i don't know where to start, who to talk to , who can develop it , what restrictions i have with publishing the application with apple. etc etc

Am glad i've joined the forum as i'm sure all my questions will be answered

Get a mac and the SDK from Apple, that is your start.

I guess the first question is: What are you developing, software or accessories?

After the sdk ... Go to iTunes U and grab the Stanford videos of their class ... It is important you grasp the mvc aspect of iPhone/iPad development before jumping in to coding... Also objective c is different than framework languages like .net and requires a bit of hello world before getting used to it.

    Enjoy
