YouTube app

Just downloaded the YouTube app on my new IPad mini retina. Opened it up and I see many many videos that I have never seen before and have no idea how they got there. Several videos I have used (i.e. ham radio types) and subscribed to from my desktop PC.

I would like to get ride of all the clutter but am at loss as how to delete all of the unwanted items.

PS: The mini is just great. First time iPad (Apple) user

When YouTube app opens, it usually shows you "recommendations" based on what you have subscribed to and viewed before. This is called "What to Watch". The side menu can help you navigate to subscriptions, favorites and playlists. You can, of course, use the search function to search YouTube generally.
