Thanks, that is what I hoped it was my only concern was that I haven't seen any other iPads with nothing on the back. I was concerned it might be a knockoff.

It's possible that the iPad was a demo unit. If you want to be sure, you could take it to the nearest Apple Store and have it checked out.
