Which App should i download to download all my prescribed Text Books?

I am a student,and carrying multiple huge text books in the bag is a task.Was wondering,if theres a App that an iPad user can obtain to download or even buy text books from?these will allow an individual to Off load their bags full of books and use iPad as its lite and slim.

Please help...
