Where did the songs go?

I bought a couple of new songs with my iPad. Then I tried to sync with Itunes. The songs did not appear on the mac, disappeared from the ipad, don't show up in purchased (for some reason no music shows up, only books and apps) but I got the receipt for the purchase. I had updated to the new IOS on the IPad. Annoying.

Restart the iPad again. Check for your purchased songs in iTunes on the computer.

If nothing works, contact iTunes support. Have your receipt number hand just in case. Apple is normally very good at straightening these things out.

Thank you! Well, nothing worked so I contacted support and asked them to send me the songs, within a day they had. Good service!
