Being new to iPads, does it matter when or how often you charge it? Do you let it drop down to a certain percentage first?
I wasn't sure if it's Li-Po batteries or not?

For day to day use it's a good idea to use it down to 40% and then charge it back to 100%. And as Gabriel says, once a month run it all the way down until it shuts itself off and charge it back up to 100%.
