What happend?

Not too long ago, I bought the film 'The Hangover' off the ITunes store on my iPad, I saw it download, when it 'Downloaded' it completely vanished. It wasn't in my Download history, it wasn't in my movies, the only thing that was evidence of the purchase was on my bank statement! The website did not help me at all, I even rang Apple Inc to ask them what to do, they didn't know either!
If you know please help!
