You reading it in order or just a certain one?

Yeah in order! Keep imagining Holmes as Jeremy Brett! Classic!!

I was so surprised the first one started in the American west. At first I thought maybe I had downloaded a title that had the wrong book file in it. From there on out it's in London though of course.

Yeah it was a shock to find them for free on the iBook store.

I haven't read any David Brin in a while. Might be time to browse the virtual shelves. :) Thanks for the reminder.

One of my favourite classics Persuasion by Jane Austen. Call me Girly, I don't care.

The Hobbit by Tolkien so that I am ready for the film when it is finally done.

I'm just the opposite. I like to keep my distance from books that are made into movies. Mostly because of the disappointment involved on my part. Many just don't live up to the written word although Peter Jackson did an exceptional job with the LOTR trilogy.
