Oh heck don't remind me. Synching my devices always give me the heeby geebys. Last two years updates, I've had to restart everything. Maybe it won't happen with the MBA. Or maybe I'm being overly optimistic.

If my laptop ( WINXP) is synced to my iPad and my pictures are on a flash drive is there a way to access that drive from my iPad? That is where I saved them to when I moved then from the iPad to the laptop. Idles this work the same way both ways? Can I get pictures from there to upload them to my iPad?

I can wait to upgrade until I guest this syncing thing sorted out right? Because I have an iPad 2 ( almost obsolete one ) and everyone else has 3 or above!?

It is a matter of taste I suppose. For myself there are things I like and others I'm not thrilled with. I think they went a bit too minimalist with the Calendar app. On the other hand I'm finding all kinds of minor improvements to the apps, feature wise, and that is what I really want.

The looks I can get used to, and it's not like it is ugly, just different.

Here is something that will make a lot of people happy. You can now bulk delete Junk and Trash folders in Yahoo and GMail accounts. Select the account, the folder, the Edit. Delete All appears at the bottom of the mail list.

There will be a way to get your pictures off the flash drive, if not directly then through the computer.
