Yep....still in 1 piece here.....

Raining nicely which has broken the awful heat we've been having!

Are you sure it's rain? Could be sulfuric acid, you know. Any sign of Nibiru yet? It's big and looks like a planet. It's supposed to be sneaking up on the Southern Hemisphere. Apparently, you lot don't have good telescopes.

Well, it's midnight here and I've been working all day so I'm going to bed.

If the apocalypse comes any time in the next seven hours, could you ask it to keep the noise down please, because some of us need to sleep.

Waiting for the Mayan apocalypse to occur in 30 minutes EST. So far the other side of the world has already survived it in such places as New Zealand, Australia, Asia, and the like... he he he!!!

Yes we are here ;). Your post reminds me of a film about humanity coming to an end. I only saw the last 30 minutes, but it seems that life was being extinguished by a force working westwards around Earth. When it reached the film crew, everything just switched off to leave a black screen. No sounds nothing for half a minute. Effective.

Posting links to a Do's and Don'ts list written by a mother dying from cancer. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-bristol-11453431

Here is of part of her list as published by the Sun..... http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/features/3161048/Dying-mothers-check-list-for-the-sons-shed-never-see-grow-up.html

I rather liked her requests for the boys to learn to play a musical instrument, and for her husband to buy a dining table.

Thanks for posting. The most moving part of the article was the way her concerns were for her family as her end neared, not for herself. It takes a truly good person to think of others when coming face to face with your own mortality.

Lol......Yes, only rain and I've been out in it, cooling off!

I lived next door to a private observatory when I was a kid.......I still remember looking at the stars and being astonished!

No Nibirus on the horizon as yet. ;)

NOW what do we do! We're still here and there is no chaos to survive by running to our shelters. I guess I'll just have to get my cup of coffee and watch the birds and squirrels fight the snow and wind. (They are good at it too. I'll have to refill the feeders today.)

All sorts of articles are appearing out of the woodwork to explain why the world didn't end last night.
