I'm thrilled to be listening to our returning Coho Salmon splashing up our creek in the back yard doing their thing in the gravel beds.The rain storm was well worth it to bring them up stream from the ocean where they have been staging for weeks.The drought had me worried for them.

Right now, everyone in the family is busy with electronics: My mom and I are on our laptops, my brother is listening to music, and my dad is on the phone while watching TV (it's becoming a bit of a habit for him.)
