Watching Shrek 3. I watched the new Jonathan Creek earlier. It was like slipping on a familiar old jacket. Oh, yes, he has it still. I loved it. It reminded me of the earlier series. I'm looking forward to the ones coming in the Autumn?

I also watched the new Dr Who. Great show. I love Oswin.

I like everything clean and tidy which isn't easy with 3 girls and all their friends. My girls say I'm a clean freak, I'm not but I have a sister who is, you could eat off her floors, I kid you not! It's just getting so tedious though. Just can't get past the thought of losing our privacy though and having someone there!

Yep, I do do that. Apparently my kids are the only ones who have to do chores! I find that amazing and wonder what other parents are thinking in not doing it. Isn't it how kids learn to do different tasks?

Search me. My parents didn't believe in assigned chores -- we did whatever they asked of us, whenever they asked.

Growing up, we all had an assigned chore, mine was the bathroom, we all did the dishes each night, taking turns and then yes, whatever my parents asked of us.

Funnily now, when my girls go away with their friends, they are the only ones who can cook or iron. So it has taught them something!
