The next DIY job. Fitting Venetian blinds in the conservatory. The blinds were delivered yesterday, ahead of the expected delivery date. That makes a change

First, I cleaned the entire area within an inch of its life. I could grow potatoes in the dirty water

Wow! What a lovely kitchen you have Richard! We put in our kitchen about 10 years ago no and it's starting to look it. Our layout is similar to yours but ours is an oak effect colour. However mine never looks that tidy. I try my best but with kids and cats, it's just not possible. Oh and the messy hubby cook/chef goes with that sweeping statement!

It will all pay off. Your schooling will fly by!

I was in a similar situation returning to graduate school and still working full-time. Seemed like an endless feat, but finished! A sense of absolute great accomplishment felt afterwards!
