I've just taken an injured pigeon to an Animal rescue shelter.....I think it may have been attacked by crows or magpies. It's wing had been totally dislodged from his shoulder.

He was wandering around my front yard late yesterday, so I grabbed him and put him in a cage.....he was eating this morning which is a good sign and they will fix him up.

So glad these people are there for these poor little blighters. They do a world of good for little recognition.

That makes two or us, Leelai! The sound startled me quite a bit, because it was so loud!

That poor pigeon! Thankfully, he had you p find him and care/feed him until he can get to the animal rescue shelter. Birds can become quite territorial.

Yes, just the sound would have scared me too and got my heart racing!

I saw a seagull down the coast which had a sinker and line around its neck.....I was thinking he may have swallowed the hook.....couldn't catch him though.....just hate seeing that type of thing and not being able to do anything about it.

I really hate seeing that myself. You feel so helpless that you can't help them and know they may not survive from it.

Fortunately it was just a small nick,but I didn't want to get it to the point where I'd have to replace it later. Glad I called the car insurance early to make things go faster!

Glad to hear that. Replacing a windshield is one of those no-joy experiences -- you lay out money and there's no enjoyment in having bought anything. Not like buying say a new iPad, lol.

It could be, if you get one of those Fender guitars from the Apple store and plug it into your iPad. It would have the added benefit of recording your session.
