What's new

What are you guys doing right NOW??? ;)

I just got email that my iPad 4 is arriving 10 days earlier than originally scheduled. When I first ordered, Apple estimated Nov. 26, then last week it moved up delivery a few days, and now it's supposed to arrive on Nov. 16. I wonder if they've sold fewer than anticipated.

Separately, I just canceled my order for a Kindle Fire HD 9". I decided to go with the 7" instead, now that I've figured out how to rig my Levo stand to hold an iPad, my Kindle Fire original 7" and a Jambox BT speaker. Because I'll use the new 7" Kindle Fire HD to double team with an iPad, so I can stream movies on Fire while I surf on iPad. I'm doing that now, but my Fire original battery is about seven hours, and the new one is supposed to last about 11". With two Fires, I'll have one to use while the other is charging, like with my iPads.

I was using Amazon credit card rewards points for my Fire 9" order, so I ended up saving lots of points by going with the 7" Fire. I just blew the points on some other stuff, including some new shoes. Yippee, I love shoes, especially free shoes, lol. The Fire will be free, too.

Just finished snow shovelling.

We got a dusting lol

The reason I asked is that your post in the weather thread mentioned heavy snow. Obviously the meaning of a heavy snowfall differs, depending on where you live.

It fell heavily, just didn't stick. Ground's still too warm. It looked like fog for a while rather than snow it was so heavy.

There was a weather warning for heavy snow in the Okanagan valley last night. 5 to 10 cm. in the prairies, that's just a flurry.
