If you ever do go to Disneyland California, I recommend staying at Paradise Pier. Comfortable accommodations, reasonable prices. Unless you require luxury, in which case you can splurge for Grand Californian (similar to Grand Floridan in DisneyWorld) for as much as $1000 a night, I think it was!Wow-you went to Disneyland Tokyo? How cool was that? Would love to go to Disney Land California one of these days.

They have a steam train ride and stern wheel steamboat ride. The haunted house was being decorated for Halloween and was closed. Pirates of the Caribbean was almost identical to Disneyland in California. They have parades every day, just like the other Disney theme parks. My visit was cut short because of the typhoon that went through that part of Japan while I was there. It wasn't too bad, just high winds and lots of rain.

No Main Street!?! As Ski said, that p's what really makes it real. Haunted house and Pirates of the Caribbean are fun. It's so nice riding them when it's hot outside, especially the haunted house, it's so cold in there! It was quite an experience.
