I've only been to Disneyland. I'd love to go to DisneyWorld sometime. I've heard that the whole thing is bigger than Nevada! :)

It's huge! So between the two, I am glad I have been able to go to Disney world! :)

I've been to Disneyland in California and the Tokyo Disneyland and hope to visit Disney World and the Paris Disneyland in the next few years.

Wow-you went to Disneyland Tokyo? How cool was that? Would love to go to Disney Land California one of these days.

If you ever do go to Disneyland California, I recommend staying at Paradise Pier. Comfortable accommodations, reasonable prices. Unless you require luxury, in which case you can splurge for Grand Californian (similar to Grand Floridan in DisneyWorld) for as much as $1000 a night, I think it was! :)

It was quite an experience. There's no Main Street USA there, it's place is taken by a world market area. The statue of Walt Disney with Mickey Mouse is there, just like in all disney parks. The various lands are there; Frontierland, Tomorrowland, etc.. They have a steam train ride and stern wheel steamboat ride. The haunted house was being decorated for Halloween and was closed. Pirates of the Caribbean was almost identical to Disneyland in California. They have parades every day, just like the other Disney theme parks. My visit was cut short because of the typhoon that went through that part of Japan while I was there. It wasn't too bad, just high winds and lots of rain.

It sounds fairly similar, but no Main Street! That's what makes it real for me when you enter the park. I love the haunted house and would love to visit during Halloween. Never have done that, but think it would be so fun. Disney had retro days last year which I would have loved to go to, but it was so last minute when I found out!!

One of these days...

Any of the Disney hotels to me are just wonderful! My favorite was the Fort Wilderness Lodge! So huge and beautiful!

No Main Street!?! As Ski said, that p's what really makes it real. Haunted house and Pirates of the Caribbean are fun. It's so nice riding them when it's hot outside, especially the haunted house, it's so cold in there! :)
We need to start a Disney thread! :D
