It's the Queens Birthday......we have normally celebrated this in June but they have decided to change it to October as the bulk of our holidays are in the first half of the year.
Our coast beaches are going to be full this weekend!
Australia day is 26th January, my mums birthday too!

Oh that sounds just wonderful. Nice to be able to spread the holidays out thru the year and not have them so clumped early on.
Cool your Mom has a birthday on the same day as Australia Day...it's like everybody is celebrating it with her. My Birthday is December 31....so I know what it feels to have a birthday on a holiday!

Still trying to forget the fact that I used to have a neighbor that would take his shirt off and go in the middle of the road and wait for a car to come until a car came and he'd run after it leaving the people in the car confused and freaked out....
One time we found licorice on the ground in the sand..... And he actually ate it.....

My sister in law's is that day too.....
Wow December 31st is also my younger sister's birthday and one of my longest closest friends and 2 other friends I know....popular day!!
