VLC movie player looked pretty good

but it was closed off because of the rules for Linux 'Openness'. I still have it on my iPad but will it be wiped off if i do a sync?

I have had it on my iPad for a long time. Hasn't disappeared yet after several sync/backup sessions. But I guess it just doesn't work anymore?

No it doesn't unless you delete it of course, like I did by accident.

Thanks you guys, helpful info and yes, re-synced and its still working. I have a heap of old time Cinema i want to watch in the .avi format and of course VLC usually works perfectly. Sometimes the audio is messed up as it decodes the wrong tracks i guess and there's no way to sort it as far as i can see....
