Using the lock.

I would like to know how to lock my notepad.....any one know how?

Settings > General > Pascode Lock; there is a simple 4 digit option or a full password.

Or if you are just talking about the Notes app, you can't do it. There are other note taking apps that have a lock feature. I'm not familiar with any of them, so I can't make recommendations.
