Upgrade ipad 2 to ios 5.? Not 6.?

Would like to upgrade my iPad 2 (only 13 moths old ) from 4.? to 5.? I do not want to go to 6.x just yet. Is it possible?

Unfortunately, no, there is no way to upgrade an iPad2 to iOS 5.x. The only iOS available for upgrade is the Apple-approved one - iOS 6. Sorry.
