Unwanted photos on iPad I

Assuming they are your photos:

Plug the iPad into the computer and select it under Devices in iTunes. Go to the Photos tab at the top of the screen and turn off Photo syncing. Now force a sync using the Apply (or Sync) button at the bottom right.

If they are photos left over from the previous owner you should probably restore the iPad. All apps and music that came on the device (other than the built in ones) will still belong to that person.

It happened to me also, because I changed the default folder of my iTunes in syncing photos, which the inappropriate photos are on my folders, which is opposed on the arrangement of my pc. My advice to the newbies, always rely on the default settings of your iTunes.
